x Middle School Summer Math Practice

Khan Academy Middle School Summer Math Practice
If you are interested in a virtual experience for summer practice, the Pennsbury School District is recommending the use of Khan Academy which can pre-test students, develop a remediation plan, and keep track of students’ progress in addition to practicing current grade level concepts.

=         If you are familiar with the Khan Academy and if you already have an account, visit this outside link https://www.khanacademy.org/math and choose which grade level  you would like to review over the summer (it is recommended to select your grade level from the 2018-2019 school year).

If you are a parent looking for more information about what the Khan Academy entails and how to create accounts, visit this outside link https://www.khanacademy.org/resources/parents-mentors-1

If you have any questions throughout the summer, please contact your child's math specialist via email (CB - Pete Sienko [psienko@pennsburysd.org], PW - Michelle Taylor [mtaylor@pennsburysd.org], and WP - Marisa McGettigan [mmcgettigan@pennsburysd.org]).

x Summer Reading

Summer is here and although school is out it doesn't mean that students should stop reading.  In fact, students must read at least two books of their choice this summer.  After reading, the students must complete a project based on one of those books.  There is a number of choices as far as the type of project they can complete.  Click on image for directions for the summer reading assignment and project options.  The project will be due in August when students return to school.  Our goal is to keep students reading and stop the summer slide! Happy Summer and Happy Reading!!!
