A National School District of Character
Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Pennsbury High School were honored by the Pennsbury School Board in January, which is National Mentoring Month. Several Pennsbury High School clubs joined together for the annual Diversity Fair and Food Festival in December. The cast of the upcoming PHS musical, Hello Dolly!, met with one of Broadway's Hello Dolly! stars, Kate Baldwin (center), in a master class. The Pennwood Middle School band, led by teacher Adam Pfannenstiel, visited Quarry Hill Elementary to give the younger students a peek at what they can achieve musically in middle school. The Men of Harmony of the Delaware Valley spread holiday cheer at Penn Valley Elementary. Pennsbury students hosted over 130 guests at the annual PHS Senior Citizen Holiday Dinner on December 13th. The 4th annual Pajama Day at William Penn MS garnered over $2,600 for the Child Life fund at CHOP. Congratulations to these Pennsbury athletes who each signed a National Letter of Intent to play at the collegiate level! Fourth grade students at Quarry Hill Elementary researched and designed circuit boards, then presented their work to second graders. CONGRATULATIONS to Afton Elementary for being named a National Blue Ribbon School 2019-2020 by the U.S. Dept of Education! Pennsbury's Bus Driver of the Year is Thomas McGoldrick!
