Pennsylvania Keystone Exam Information

Due to the uncertain weather conditions, the Biology Keystone scheduled for Friday, February 19 is rescheduled to Tuesday, March 2.

Please note that the exam is being given on several days to small groups of students so the date is specific to the student.

  • Students are to report to the Pennsbury High School EAST cafeteria by 7:20 AM on Tuesday, March 2nd.

  • Students should bring a calculator and several #2 pencils.  Students may also bring water and a snack.

  • Cell phones will be collected during the exam.

  • If the student retained the Biology textbook, it should be returned at the time of the exam.

  • Students may use their Pennsbury morning bus.  An area bus run will be provided at 11:30 or students may call for their ride when done.

  • Teachers will be notified of the date of a student's participation to allow adequate time to complete missed work.

Questions about participation should be directed to the student's guidance counselor.

Cell Phone Procedures/Regulations
Please be aware that cell phones are not permitted in the Keystone Exam testing rooms.  We encourage all students to leave their cell phones at home on the testing days.  If you choose to bring your cell phone to school, you will need to give your phone to your testing proctor and collect it back after your testing is entirely complete.  Failure to cooperate with the state's cell phone guidelines will result in an invalidated test score (a zero) as well as disciplinary consequences ranging from suspension to expulsion circumstantially assigned at the discretion of administration.  Cell phones in use during the exam will be confiscated and returned to the parent(s) of the student.
