The school day begins at 8:10 a.m. and ends at 2:55 p.m.

Building Access
For security purposes, all doors to the building will be locked at 8:20 a.m. and remain locked all day. Access will only be permitted via the front door. For our students’ protection, all visitors including parents, guardians, etc., MUST sign in at the main office and obtain a visitors pass upon entering the building.

Student Drop Off
Student drop off is only permitted on the side of the building near the science wing, closest to Makefield Road. Parents are expected to drop students off by turning into the driveway on the East side of the building, not the Bus Dock side. Please drive down the driveway toward the field, go around the island near the trash dumpsters and drop students off as indicated near the science wing. Please note that access to Boehm from Pennwood is not permitted. Please use caution and drive slowly, student safety is always our first priority. Students who walk to school or are dropped off should not arrive before 7:50 a.m.

Student Pick-Up - 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
To maintain safety and order on our bus dock at 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. pickup times, please park your car in a designated parking space, and wait for your student to come to the car. Please do not park in the spaces designated, “Bus Parking Only” or attempt to pick up your child right in front of the doors leading to the gym. We are attempting to prevent a potentially hazardous situation.
The late bus schedule is as follows:
Tuesday & Thursday - 4:00 p.m.

Monday-Friday - 5:00 p.m.
Available for athletic and special activities.

Visitor Policy
The visitor policy of the Pennsbury School District states that students are to refrain from bringing visitors to accompany them during the school day. We cannot honor requests by students to bring friends or relatives to school.

Emergency Contact Information
Please be sure to keep emergency contact and pick-up  information up-to-date at all times. You may review the data we have on file by contacting our main office.  Should there be a need to update any student demographic information you see posted, click here to obtain a Student Demographic Change form.  Please complete and submit the form to the CB counseling office to make changes in the Student Information System.

Early Dismissal
Medical or dental appointments should not be scheduled during school hours. Students who must unavoidably seek early dismissal from school for medical or dental appointments are required to bring a note from home, take it to the main office for a class absence card, and must obtain signatures from those teachers whose classes will be missed.  Students must be signed out from the main office by a parent or guardian.  Photo identification is required when signing out a student from school.  Upon returning to school, the student may be required to bring a form from the doctor’s office confirming the appointment.

Students are required to attend school on a regular basis and to be on time. Students must be present in homeroom by 8:10 each day.  Regular school attendance is a key factor in student success.  Tardiness and early dismissal will affect perfect attendance.

Cell Phones and Other Electronic Devices
It is imperative that cellphones and other electronic devices be turned off during the school day and that they are never visible at school. They are remarkably distracting and can be difficult to manage, especially when unexpected calls or messages are received. In addition, students and parents need to understand that taking and distributing photographs and private, sometimes inappropriate communication can lead to a multitude of issues. Once shared, this media is not able to be deleted. When these issues are taken into schools, they can provide disruptions and problems for students and teachers. I would like to recommend that cell phones and electronic devices be limited to emergency use only. I would also like to remind students and their parents that after the first warning of a cell phone violation, parents will be notified and asked to pick up the device. Repeated offenses of the cell phone policy will lead to further disciplinary action, including detentions and possible suspension. Please review this information with your children and help them understand the potential negative impact of electronic media.

 Student Dress Code
Appropriate dress and appearance is expected for all Boehm students.
The follow list highlights areas of concern:
  • No low cut shirts that expose any part of the midriff.
  • No excessively tight clothing.
  • All tops must have a two inch strap minimum with no undergarments showing at all .
  • No garments with holes or frays.
  • Shorts and skirts must not include lettering on the backside and must not be rolled up, and must be no shorter than mid-thigh length.
  • Backless shoes of any type, including sneakers are not allowed in school.

Students who violate the dress code will be removed from class and may be asked to make parental contact in order to obtain attire more appropriate for school if they are unable to utilize clothing already at school. Repeat offenders of the dress code policy will be subjected to progressive student discipline.
