Student Dress Code Reminders
Throughout the school year and especially during warm weather we remind our students and their parents of the following dress code guidelines that are highlighted from the Pennsbury School District Student Conduct Policy:
- Backless shoes of any type (including flip-flops) are discouraged due to safety concerns during recess and physical education.
- Shorts must be no shorter than mid-thigh (fingertip length when arms are extended at sides).
- Students are not permitted to wear string tank top shirts (girls), or muscle shirts (boys).
- No wearing of hats, bandanas and other headwear in school, except for medical or religious purposes.
Students who violate the dress code policy will be removed from class and asked to make a parental contact in order to obtain attire that is more appropriate for school. Repeat offenders of the dress code policy will be subjected to progressive student discipline which may include recess detention.
