School and Classroom Visitation by Parents and Guardians
The Administration and faculty welcome and encourage visits to school by parents or guardians of students.
All requests for classroom
visitations must be scheduled in advance with the school principal. The
principal will seek to arrange a mutually-convenient time. It is
essential to minimize disruption to the educational program. An
individual principal shall have the authority to prohibit entry of any
person to the school. If, in the judgment of the school principal, the
possibility exists for a classroom visitation to be disruptive or to
interfere with the educational setting, s/he may deny permission. The
school principal or his/her designee shall accompany any visitor during
classroom visitations. Classroom visitors may not interfere in any way
with classroom activities during visitations. No visitor shall be
allowed to photograph or videotape any person or any part of any
building or to tape record any conversation of any kind without prior
approval by the school principal and the Superintendent.
