Team Members

The Office Staff is responsible for initiating and establishing partnerships for the district and serving as liaisons between the district and public and private agencies as well as corporations. We also motivate, assist, and provide technical assistance to the PPP Liaisons in all the schools, and we support the work of the Advisory Committee. The Staff is responsible for internal and external communication and marketing efforts related to partnership development, including alternative resources and alternative funding, as well as needs assessment, research, planning, budgeting, data management, and evaluation functions of the Pennsbury Partners Program.

PPP LIAISONS  (List of Liaisons for 2021-2022)
The district-wide volunteer team of Liaisons (at least two in each school) coordinates with the Office of Community Partnerships to give direction and leadership to the partnership development effort (alternative resources and alternative funding) in support of the Pennsbury School District's strategic plan.

  1.  Attend/participate in scheduled monthly PPP meetings and other scheduled PPP events.
  2.  Recruit and coordinate a PPP Action Team Committee within the school.
  3.  Encourage and serve as a partnership resource for faculty seeking to support and enrich the curriculum, provide community support or develop career awareness.
  4.  Share the vision and partnership approach of the PPP Grant Program.
  5.  Communicate with faculty alternative funding opportunities for classroom teachers to implement creative and innovative projects or programs.
  6.  Promote PPP throughout the school community, and communicate the status of the Partnership Program at school (i.e., Partnership Minute at school faculty meeting, school Newsletter, display board, media, photos).
  7.  Initiate contact with potential partners and form new partnerships.
  8.  Ensure that all partnership activities are communicated via Google Docs Partnership Activity Page  within two weeks upon completion of activities.
  9.  Apply for PPP Mini-Grant and/or other grant opportunities.
  10.  Communicate new partnership agreements and share photos of existing partnership activities.
  11.  Communicate school PPP activities in a timely fashion with school Administration and PPP Central Office.
The Liaisons receive technical assistance and training from the PPP Office staff. Act 48 credit is available for participation.

The Advisory Board Members, representing both the non-profit and profit sectors of the community, are recommended by the Coordinator of the PPP and appointed by the Superintendent. The Committee will meet twice a year, and will receive staff services from the Pennsbury Partners Program.
