The Pennsbury School District is proud to announce the latest class of inductees into the Pennsbury High School Hall of Fame. The newest members are Sean Grevy, Class of 2007; Dr. Patricia Leigh Zadnik Sullivan, Class of 2004; Kathy Romano, Class of 1996; Paul "Skip" Rickert, Class of 1972; and Dr. R. Bruce Hitchner, Class of 1969.

The honorees will be recognized at a special ceremony at Pennsbury High School East on October 23, 2025.

The Class of 2025 joins the following list of other notable alumni honored in the Pennsbury High School Hall of Fame: Lavoy Allen, Class of 2007; Robert Costa, Class of 2004; Dr. Ashley Zampini Ritter, Class of 2003; Hallie Jackson, Class of 2002; Dr. Corey Cochrane, Class of 2000; Ryan Newman, Class of 1997; Troy Vincent, Class of 1988, Mark Shelhamer, Class of 1977; Richard Kind, Class of 1974; and Dr. Arthur Lendo, Class of 1964.

The Pennsbury High School Hall of Fame was created in 2022 to honor those graduates who have demonstrated excellence in their chosen careers. A new class is inducted every two years. The PHS Hall of Fame wall is located in the main office lobby at Pennsbury High School West. Wooden plaques with black brass plates adorn the wall, identifying each inductee, their year of graduation, and accomplishments. Inductees must have graduated at least ten years ago to be considered for this honor. Candidates are considered based on their accomplishments after graduating in areas such as academics, the arts, business, athletics, military or public service, or other career achievements. Nominations for the Pennsbury High School Hall of Fame can be submitted online.

Sean Grevy, Class of 2007

Sean Grevy is the CEO of 43 Oak, a Manhattan-based advertising agency. He is known for his innovative approach to traditional and digital marketing. 43 Oak not only handles traditional advertising, but they also work on media negotiations between agencies. Mr. Grevy prides himself and his company in supporting his clients.

Mr. Grevy is also the founder of the 43 Oak Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on providing educational opportunities for underprivileged and minority youth in the greater New York City area, particularly in ice hockey. His partnership with the NY Islanders has helped to boost his efforts. His charitable donations and effects have been captured by multiple media outlets, both locally and nationally, including USA Hockey, NHL.com, and the NHL Network. In November of 2024, he hosted the 3rd annual 3 Keys Cup, raising over $180,000 for the foundation.

Dr. Patricia Leigh Zadnik Sullivan, Class of 2004

Dr. Sullivan is a neurosurgeon specializing in spine tumors and chordomas. She is the Director of the Center for Spine Tumor and Chordoma Research at the Norman Prince Neurosciences Institute. Dr. Sullivan received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in neurosurgery at the University of Pennsylvania, where she received the Resident Teaching Award, and completed a fellowship in reconstructive spine and spinal oncology at Rhode Island Hospital and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Sullivan maintains an active laboratory to study the development of spinal chordoma and is an assistant professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School. In her leadership role in the Center for Spine Tumor and Chordoma Research, she leads research efforts and treatments of patients with these conditions. This leadership position highlights her experience and contributions to the field.

Kathy Romano, Class of 1996

Kathy Romano is a household name in Philadelphia broadcasting, best known for her role on 93.3 WMMR's "Preston & Steve" show, where she started in 2003. Romano also hosted “Her Story”, a weekly program that highlighted the achievements and experiences of influential women. She began her career in broadcasting as a television traffic reporter.

In addition to broadcasting, Ms. Romano is heavily involved in philanthropy. She started "Kathy's Cuts," an initiative that has collected over 1,000 hair donations for children undergoing medical treatments through "Wigs for Kids." She also serves on the board of the Philadelphia Police Foundation and works with the M. Night Shyamalan Foundation. Ms. Romano also co-founded the Fresh Smiles Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of underprivileged children through organized activities.

Paul "Skip" Rickert, Class of 1972

Skip Rickert is a music industry professional known for his roles as a songwriter, film producer, and tour manager. After graduating from Pennsbury, he studied theater at the University of California, San Diego. His career began in 1977 as a stage carpenter for the Rolling Stones in Colorado. By 1979, he was serving as the production and tour manager for the Little River Band.

Mr. Rickert's experience includes managing tours for artists such as Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, the Backstreet Boys, ZZ Top, Korn, Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Guns N' Roses, Green Day, Ozzy Osbourne, Ice Cube, Eric Idle, Natalie Cole, Enrique Iglesias, Midnight Oil, the Sex Pistols, and Paris Hilton. He has been Santana's tour manager and director since 2005. He was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in 2014 for producing the music documentary "Santana: Corazón - Live from Mexico, Live It to Believe It".

Dr. R. Bruce Hitchner, Class of 1969

Dr. Hitchner is an educator specializing in Classical Studies and International Relations. He holds professorships in both disciplines at Tufts University, where he has made significant contributions to the understanding of the Roman world and contemporary international affairs. Dr. Hitchner's research focuses on Roman history and archaeology, with a particular emphasis on North Africa in antiquity. He has directed significant archaeological projects in North Africa and France, supported by organizations such as the National Geographic Society, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the French Ministry of Culture.

In addition to his educational contributions, Dr. Hitchner founded and chaired the Dayton Peace Accords Project from 1998 to 2014. In this capacity, he was part of the international negotiating team that assisted Bosnia-Herzegovina's political parties in formulating the April 2006 Package of Amendments to the Dayton Constitution. In 2001, Professor Hitcher had the honor of awarding President William Jefferson Clinton as the winner of the Dayton Peace Prize.
