Field Day 2021

Due to the continuation of state regulations and CDC requirements for gatherings within the school, we will be modifying our field day experience. Our focus will still be on our 4th and 5th grade students along with the inclusion of all grade levels experiencing our field day games. We will divide each of our classes into black and orange teams, and have them compete in our games, but it will be only against their own classmates. There will be no mixing of grade levels within each team. All field day games and activities will take place during their physical education class starting in the 4th marking period, and will last over the course of the last 4 PE classes in each of the 9 day rotations. We encourage your child to wear their team color, school spirit wear, or retro field day t-shirt during the last 4 days of their PE rotation day. As always field day is an expression of teamwork, sportsmanship and the spirit of competition, along our main goal of having fun. Our school year has been like no other we’ve experienced. It may have been tough and challenging at times but we hope to make it a fun and memorable end of year.

Here is the schedule for Falcon Day/Field Day activities being held during physical education classes. Students can wear their team colors or spirit wear on their assigned days to show team spirit.

Day 3 - (Felicetti, Daidone, Majikas) start May 12th - May 17th
Day 4 - (Jenkins, Northrup, Kane) Start May 25th - June 1st
Day 4 - (Koellner, Bond) Start May 26th - June 1st
Day 5 - (Johnston, Bird, Gonzales) Start June 7th - June 10th
Day 5 - (Genzel, Marseglia) Start June 7th - June 11th

 Student Material Drop-off/Pick-up

Your child’s teacher(s) will notify you if any additional educational materials need to be picked up and/or if any student work needs to be dropped off.  We have set a schedule to accommodate a singular time by which materials can be picked up for any students as needed in Grades K-5. Only students who are in full virtual learning will have materials to be picked up. Students who are in Hybrid will receive any materials from their teacher when they are in the building. If you are not able to make any of the pickup times, please make arrangements with your child’s homeroom teacher.  Library books will also be included in these scheduled times.
