The role of the certified school nurse is to:

• Support student success by providing health care assessment, intervention and follow-up for all children in the school setting 
• Follow PA State Mandates and provide health services for all students residing in the boundaries of Pennsbury School District, including private and parochial students
• Teach and counsel students
• Responsible for the health and welfare of all faculty & staff

Education

RN with Bachelors Degree plus 24 post graduate credits Certification by PA Department of Education as an Educational Specialist
