Green Team - The Green Team is focused on sustainability in Pennwood and can offer a unique opportunity to make a difference in both the environment and the community. This is open for all grade levels.

Instrumental Music - The Pennsbury School Instrumental Music Department empowers all students to become creative, ethical, and critical thinkers while developing a high work ethic and a lifelong passion for music, through a student-centered learning approach to the processes of performing, creating, understanding, and appreciating diverse genres and musical cultures. The Middle School Instrumental Music Program offers Concert Band and Orchestra rehearsals as well as lessons grouped by instrument to all 6th-8th grade instrumental students. Each building offers the opportunity to participate in Jazz Band by audition, and we offer a district wide Middle School Honors Band & Orchestra by audition. 7th & 8th Grade students have the opportunity to audition for the BCMEA (Bucks County Music Educators Association) All County Band Festival which takes place each March.

MathCounts - MathCounts is a competition in which small teams of students compete against other middle schools in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. Any 6th, 7th, 8th grader interested in mathematics is welcome to join.

Mini-THON - Pennsbury Middle Schools Mini-THON committee is made up of students from PW, CB and WP. Our goal is to raise funds to support Four Diamonds. With our help, Four Diamonds funds pediatric cancer research and supports children and their families fighting childhood cancer. Mini- THON is a shortened version of THON, the annual dance marathon at Penn State University where students are on their feet dancing for 46 hours. Pennwood is looking for student leaders and committee members to help advertise fundraising events and be a big part of our culminating Mini- THON dance event.
