Pennsbury Education Foundation

  • Pennsbury Education Foundation LogoThe Pennsbury Education Foundation (PEF) is committed to supporting the best possible curriculum, instruction, and programs for all Pennsbury students. We are dedicated to ensuring the success of all of our learners, and realize that the needs of our students are diverse. We believe that each child deserves to be given the opportunity to learn, to be appropriately challenged, and to succeed.

    A 501(c)(3) organization, the PEF relies on donations from individuals and businesses to support the purpose of improving teaching and learning in Pennsbury through innovative educational initiatives. Grants are awarded to teachers and administrators through an application process that occurs twice each year. Recent grants include funding for:
    • classroom technology, including computer software, student response systems, and Chromebooks;
    • books and classroom materials to support the teaching of reading;
    • musical instruments;
    • physical fitness equipment;
    • guest presentations for school assemblies.
    PEF serves to support new and innovative programs; acts as a catalyst for School District improvement, and seeks non-traditional funding from corporate donors and private patrons.

    It is through initiatives in educational programs, both curricular and instructional, that the diverse learning needs of all students can be met.

    A catalyst

    The PEF Board of Directors serves as a liaison between members of the Pennsbury School District and donors in an attempt to secure funding for emerging programs.
