Best Buddies International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). https://www.bestbuddies.org/

 

Pennsbury has middle school (William Penn, Charles Boehm, and Pennwood) and high school (Pennsbury High School) chapters. There are events that are planned each year for the different chapters. 

 

The Best Buddies Friendship Walk occurs every May in which we gather at Pennsbury High School and walk around the school to raise money for Best Buddies. This is the closing activity for the year for the Pennsbury School District Best Buddies chapters. More information will be shared here later in the year regarding the May 2023 Best Buddies Friendship Walk.
